Join us from December 1-10, 2023 for an online series of events, workshops, panels and more will be a space for human rights defenders to come together to look at critical human rights issues and find spaces for collective action, impact and skill building.

While we have a registration cost for the event, we strive to create an event that is BARRIER-FREE. If you are unable to support the costs of attendance, 

please email ignitechange@jhcentre.org and we will work with you to ensure you are able to attend.

The Convention is built for and by Canadians in honour of the legacy of John Peters Humphrey, the principal drafter of the UN Declaration. Each day will focus on connected themes and will feature a combination of guest speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and showcases, as well as opportunities to network and engage in dialogue, learning, and action on human rights.
